Privacy Policy

PractiCal AR Last updated: February 26, 2026

Overview

PractiCal AR (“the App”) is an augmented reality tool designed for FIRST® Robotics Competition (FRC®) teams to calibrate practice fields using AprilTag detection. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains how the App handles your data.

Data Collection

PractiCal AR does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App operates entirely on your device.

Specifically:

Camera and Sensor Usage

The App requires access to your device’s camera and motion sensors to provide augmented reality functionality, including AprilTag detection and field calibration. Camera and sensor data is processed entirely on your device in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Data Export

The App allows you to export field calibration data in JSON formats compatible with WPILib and Limelight. These exported files contain only field calibration measurements and do not include any personally identifiable information. Exported files are saved locally to your device, and you control how and where they are shared.

Third-Party Services

PractiCal AR does not integrate with any third-party services, advertising networks, or data brokers.

Children’s Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since the App does not collect any data, changes are expected to be infrequent.
